Fanless all-in-one PCs for POS and automation applications in a 19.5" format

Elmshorn, Germany, 2022-03-29 – Shuttle presents more models from its popular, fanless XPC all-in-one range. Several P92 models now combine flexibility and ergonomic operation with modern computing power and, just like their predecessors, they are renowned for being energy-efficient and reliable.

The models from Shuttle's XPC all-in-one product family on display here feature a capacitive 19.5 inch (49.5 cm) multi-touch display with a completely flat surface and are particularly easy and intuitive to operate with finger gestures.

The Shuttle Barebone P92U is based on the efficient Intel Celeron 5205U processor from the "Comet Lake" generation. For applications that demand more power, the model range also includes versions with Intel Core i3-10110U (P92U3) and Intel Core i5-10210U (P92U5).

The compact-sized barebones measure just 48.7 × 32.1 × 4.4 cm (WHD), are convenient to operate and offer lots of connection options. All solutions feature two slots for a total of 32 GB of DDR4 memory.

The clever chassis layout lets you to install a 2.5-inch drive and an NVMe SSD in an M.2 format. A card reader, speaker, camera, microphone, WLAN, Bluetooth and Gigabit Ethernet are already integrated. An HDMI port and VGA port (can be used simultaneously) and six USB interfaces complete the features. An additional USB port with a classic Type-A connection is located inside the chassis. This protects data carriers or wireless receivers from theft and unauthorised access.

Thanks to protection type IP54, all P92 models are splash-proof and can also be used in particularly dusty environments.

Shuttle's passive cooling system, which efficiently dissipates the heat which is produced into the air, ensures quiet operation in particularly noise-sensitive areas without using any fans. The P92 models are practically maintenance-free and approved for constant operation 24/7.

Thanks to the infinitely adjustable stand and the screw threads for standardised VESA mounts that lie behind it, the installation of the device can be individually adjusted to suit the local circumstances and requirements.

Accessories that are optionally available include a port expansion with two COM ports and one LPT port (PCL71), a port expansion with four COM ports, an LPT port and a DIO port (POS01).

The recommended retail price from Shuttle for the XPC Barebone P92U is EUR 621.00, the P92U3 sells for EUR 807.00 and the P92U5 costs EUR 993.00 (ex VAT). The prices between the two different colours may vary. All models are available from specialist retailers upon publication of this press release.
