DC-Input Terminal

Shuttle offers a wide range of optional accessory products for their Box-PC series. Usually, the Box-PC is powered with 19 V DC voltage from the supplied power adapt-er, whereby the 5.5/2.5 mm DC plug of the power adapter is connected to the DC input of the Box-PC. With the required accessory VOL01, the permissible operating voltage is extended to 9 - 36 V DC so that other voltage sources (e.g. 12V or 24V) can also be used. In addition, the Box PC BPCAL02 can also be equipped with the option-al accessory PDC11 which provides a fixed screw connection for an external power source and an external power button. When using the box PC in a car/lorry, it can be connected to the ignition lock, which enables delayed switching on and off.
Note: a DC power cable is not included

  • Compatibility and use
    Compatible with Shuttle Box-PC BPCRL02 and BPCAL02.
    (not compatible with BPCWL02)
    PDC11 consists of a bracket with terminal with three screwing connection, which is installed on the front of the Box PC. Here you can connect an external power source and an external power button.
  • Additional components are required to use PDC11:
    - External power button 
    (a 2-meter cable is included)
    - Cable for external power supply
    - BIOS update for box PC (please contact support@shuttle.eu)
    - VOL01 voltage regulator for extended voltage range 9-36V at DC input
