Shuttle 1.3-litre PCs all set for Intel Core processors of the 10th generation

Elmshorn, Germany, 2020-11-30 – following the successful launch of the 3-litre Mini-PC XH410G as Shuttle’s first model for Intel processors of the Comet Lake generation a few weeks ago, the DH410 and DH410S models are now bringing the 10th generation of Core processors to the product family of 1.3-litre Mini-PCs.

- For Intel LGA1200 processors with up to 65 Watt TDP
- Two 4K-capable monitor connections
- Space-saving steel chassis for rack installation and DIN rail mounting (accessory)

Based on Intel's H410 chipset, as indicated by the model name, both the XPC Barebone DH410 and the DH410S support Intel Core processors of the "Comet Lake” generation up to a TDP of 65 Watt. This means that even high-end processors such as the Core i9-10900 with 10 cores and 20 threads can be used. Reflecting this, two SO-DIMM slots permit the installation of up to 64 GB of DDR4 memory modules.

Both models support multi-monitoring, the DH410 4K resolution at 60 Hz via HDMI 2.0 and DisplayPort 1.2. There is the option to retrofit an analogue VGA port on the back of the device. Doing so means that two out of the available three ports can be used together at the same time.

"Both Barebones are versatile and robust Mini-PC platforms which also offer great benefits away from a desktop," explains Tom Seiffert, Head of Marketing & PR at Shuttle Computer Handels GmbH. "There is particular focus here on applications from the fields of industry, automation and control. The raw performance and connectivity of the computers cater for almost all requirements."

When it comes to features, the DH410 is slightly ahead, whereas the DH410S is better value.

For example, the DH410 boasts 2× Gigabit Ethernet, 2× RS-232, 1× HDMI 2.0a, and a VESA mount is also supplied with it. By contrast, the DH410S features 1× Gigabit Ethernet, 1× USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type C and 1× HDMI 1.4b. The VESA mount is available as an option here; the DH410S does away with the RS-232 ports. Eight USB ports in each case provide the necessary connectivity.

Both models measure just 19 x 16.5 x 4.3 cm (DWH) and have room for one 2.5-inch drive (HDD/SSD) and one M.2 NVMe SSD. An SD card reader is already fitted. WLAN with 5 GHz can be retrofitted with the Shuttle accessory WLN-M.

A remote power-on connection allows the devices to be started remotely, for example, if a fixed installation is difficult to access. Thanks to the DIR01 accessory, such an installation can happen on a DIN rail for example.

In summary, the following items are available as optional accessories: Stands for vertical operation (PS02), a connecting cable for the remote power-on connection (CXP01), a WLAN/Bluetooth module with antennas (WLN-M), a VGA connecting cable (PVG01), a 19" rack mount for rack installation over two height units (PRM01), a DIN rail kit (DIR01) and 4G/LTE kit (WWN03).

The recommended retail price from Shuttle for the DH410 is EUR 229.00. The DH410S costs EUR 204.00. Both prices exclude VAT. Both models are available from specialist retailers Europe-wide upon publication of this press release.
