Die DS50U-Serie umfasst schlanke, lüfterlose Barebone-PCs in einem robusten Metallgehäuse mit vielseitigen Anschlussmöglichkeiten. Der aufgelötete Intel Gen12/13 ULV-Prozessor bietet ausreichend Leistung für die Wiedergabe von 2160p/60-Videos in 4K-Auflösung. Zwei digitale Anschlüsse für UHD-Displays sowie ein traditioneller VGA-Port sind vorhanden. Komponenten lassen sich einfach installieren: zwei DDR5-Speichermodule, ein 2,5"-Laufwerk und zwei M.2-2280 SSD-Karten finden hinter dem praktischen Gehäusedeckel Platz.

Im zweiten M.2-Steckplatz kann optional mit dem Adapter-Kit WWN04 auch ein 4G/5G-Modul integriert werden. Dank vollständig passiver Kühlung ist das System praktisch wartungsfrei, für den 24/7-Dauerbetrieb geeignet und zudem sehr energieeffizient. Es ist ideal für professionelle Anwendungen wie Digital Signage, POS, Steuerung, Office oder als Media-PC.

Wired remote starting

This model features a remote power-on connection. Any two-pin cable can be used to connect dedicated buttons via pins on the back and they then allow the machine to be started remotely.

Two network connections

This feature is particularly beneficial for vital network applications. It includes a 2.5 Gbit/s Ethernet connection and an additional gigabit connection, enabling physically separate networks and providing ample bandwidth overall.

Space for a 2.5" drive

As a complement to an NVMe SSD, this model also offers a home to classic data storage devices in 2.5" format*. Hard disks and SSDs in this format offer many terabytes of storage space.

Add-ons via M.2 module

Serial port

The classic among the interfaces. COM ports are still needed for professional applications, for example in cash register systems and in products from the fields of science and industry.

Anti-theft protection

The Kensington security slot on the side of the case (also called K-Slot or Kensington Lock) serves as an anti-theft device. Suitable security solutions in various designs are available from specialist dealers.

External antenna connections

Two RP-SMA antenna connections are pre-installed on the rear of the device. Internal WLAN modules can be connected quickly thanks to the MHF IV cables already in the housing.
