Off to Hanover! Shuttle at CeBIT 2016 in Hall 2
The latest edition of CeBIT opens in March and Shuttle has pulled out all the stops to make its appearance at this year's show a memorable experience for visitors. On 14 March 2016 it's that time of year again as the world's largest IT fair opens its doors in Hanover under the slogan "d!conomy: join – create – succeed", which continues the main theme of 2015. Visitors can look forward to five exciting days discovering the latest ideas the IT world has to offer.
Space-saving, Intel Skylake-based mini-PCs and fanless models for long-term operation are the stars of Shuttle's trade fair presentation
A regular exhibitor over many years and present at each edition since 2010, Shuttle will be there to reveal its most important innovations for the coming year along with 4,000 other manufacturers and service providers from over 70 countries. Up to 300,000 visitors are expected at the exhibition centre.
Again this year, you won't have to search too hard to find Shuttle – the world of mini-PCs will be located in Hall 2 at Stand B35, right next to IBM and opposite Intel.
This year's new Shuttle products concentrate on the Intel Skylake processor generation – or, to be precise, on client devices and workstation computers based on these processors. The absolute highlight is the XPC cube Barebone SZ170R8, which not only offers the fast Z170 chipset, but can also accommodate up to four 3.5" drives. Intel's latest generation of processors has also found its way into the 1 and 3-litre models in the "XPC slim" series.
Shuttle's smallest ever Barebone PCs, the "XPC nano" machines launched in 2015, are given a Skylake-U update, making them not just faster but also more energy-efficient.
Underlining Shuttle's orientation towards vertical markets, robust new media players for applications such as monitor control at POS and POI will also be presented for the first time.
All of the Shuttle solutions on show continue the successful concept that has made the company famous and for which it has gained numerous international awards – high quality standards, versatility, robustness, compactness and ease of setup.
